Singapore InterContinental Hotel’s Man Fu Yuan Restaurant closed following food poisoning outbreak that sickened more than 200 - The Global Dispatch: The Singaporean National Environment Agency (NEA) suspended operations of a Cantonese restaurant in a popular hotel after five reported incidents of suspected food poisoning that occurred during wedding and company functions held in late December 2012, according to a Channel News Asia report Jan. 3.

In a joint statement by the Singaporean Ministry of Health (MOH) and the National Environment Agency (NEA), the authorities said the suspension on Man Fu Yuan restaurant at the InterContinental Singapore hotel will be lifted after they are able to ascertain no further risk of transmission to guests and the public.
