35 hurt in Ctg RMG factory fire scare :: Financial Express: CHITTAGONG, Jan 5: In another incident of fire scare at a RMG factory in CEPZ some 35 workers received injuries while trying to escape in a hurry from upstairs in the morning. The incident occurred in the readymade garment (RMG) factory, Pacific 2000, a unit of Pacific Jeans group.
BEPZA officials said sparks from a tube light caused panic among the workers on the fifth floor of the factory at around 9am. The incident occurred due to electric short circuit.
