'Great risk' posed by asbestos waste station - News - getsurrey: AN asbestos waste transfer station that poses a threat to human health has now been formally opposed after originally being passed with no objections.
Plans to build an asbestos transfer site in Windmill Road, Sunbury, were sent to Spelthorne Borough Council by Surrey County Council as part of a consultation process.
The borough returned the plans unopposed, paving the way for storage at the 140-square metre site.
