Oil field worker dies despite life-flight effort : Energy News: An oil field worker died of injuries Thursday from an accident at a well location north of Watford City, N.D.McKenzie County Sheriff Ron Rankin said the injured worker was flown out of the local hospital, but the flight circled back to the hospital where the worker was pronounced dead.Rankin said the investigating officer returned from the scene in the early evening Thursday and he had few details until he could read the officer’s complete report.Rankin said the Occupational Safety and Health Administration had been notified of the fatality.It is the second oil field fatality this month.
