Man sues New Orleans hotel over slip and fall | Louisiana Record: NEW ORLEANS – A New Jersey man is suing a New Orleans hotel after falling during his visit to the city.
Albert Ripp filed suit against The Hampton Inn New Orleans Downtown, its general manager and insurer in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court. The plaintiff was a guest on the top floor of the hotel on Nov. 25, 2011 when the accident occurred, the suit claims.
Ripp says that he slipped and fell in water that was leaking from the roof of the building. He further claims that he sustained severe injuries in the fall.
