A man was killed in an industrial accident Friday morning at Buffalo Sweeping Compounds, located at Elk and Smith streets.
The man, whose name has not yet been released by authorities, was crushed in a forklift accident at about 11:30 a.m. State and federal labor officials are looking into possible health and safety violations in connection with the accident.
