Workers falls to death in Bokaro Steel Plant - The Times of India: BOKARO: A contract worker died on Tuesday after falling from a height of more than 10 metres in blast furnace-II at the Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL). Deceased Suresh Kandulana (55) of Atul Construction company was a resident of Kurmidih area. BSL sources said the incident occurred around 11am. Kandulana was repairing an overhead water pipeline when he lost balance. Soon, other workers rushed him to the plant hospital where he died of multiple injuries. BSL chief of communication Sanjay Tiwari said, "Suitable compensation will be given to the kin of the deceased. Kandulana was an unskilled worker."
