Ukranian News - DTEK Ceases Operation In Komsomolets Donbasu Coal Mine Due To Methane Outburst: DTEK has ceased operation in Komsomolets Donbasu coal mine (Donetsk region) after methane outburst on January 3 that caught four miners, one of whom got off and one died, the company's press-service said in the press-release.
"DTEK Director General Maksym Tymchenko has ordered to suspend the work in the faces to carry out gas-drainage measures and to test hazard layers of coal and gas outburst," the press-release noted.
The press-service recalls that the rescuers found the dead shaftman and are searching for another two miners.
The fourth miner who managed to get off was hospitalized with a diagnosis of poisoning by firedamp and possible concussion.
