 MANAMA: An investigation has been launched after a worker was crushed to death in a worksite accident in Hidd yesterday.

Bangladeshi Mohammed Ferdous Islam, 29, was killed when a container full of five tonne concrete slabs fell on him while he was helping move them onto a ship.

However, a colleague who was standing next to him, also Bangladeshi, miraculously escaped unhurt.
