Freak accident kills worker | The Tribune: A FREAK accident at a construction site claimed the life of a 23-year-old man.

#The Tribune understands the man, who sources identified as Tyson Miller, an employee of Knowles Construction, may have been attempting to jump onto the Mack trailer bed when he lost his balance and fell.

#He was apparently crushed to death under the impact of two tyres.

#The accident happened around 10.20am yesterday off of Gladstone Road and John F Kennedy Drive.

#Police say when they arrived, they found a tractor trailer parked along the southern side of the street with the man’s body underneath the left driver tyre.

#Superintendent Ken Strachan, of the Traffic Division, said police were still in the early stages of their investigations.
