ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, N.J. — A no-standing policy might have reduced the number of passengers injured in Wednesday's accident in which a commuter ferry struck a pier, but experts say it would be as hard to enforce as on trains and buses.
Similar to what happens on any form of public transportation, many of the passengers aboard the SeaStreak Wall Street high-speed ferry said they already were lining up to get off the ferry as soon as it docked.
