Transparency and access complaints remain common among health and environment journalists when it comes to the Obama administration. A recent survey ranked the current administration's performance on these issues only slightly better than the Bush administration’s record. The consensus among food-safety reporters, however, seems to be that this administration is actually worse than its predecessor. Helena Bottemiller, Columbia Journalism Review.
