Clearwell hotel's appeal against food hygiene breaches fails | This is Gloucestershire: FOOD hygiene failures at a Forest of Dean hotel have cost it and its secretary an extra �9,500.
The Wyndham Arms in Clearwell appealed against its original �43,000 fine but it fell on deaf ears at Gloucester Crown Court on Tuesday.
The Wyndham Arms Hotel Ltd and Nigel Stanley, the company secretary, were told they must pay the costs of the appeal, totalling £9,452.30.
