Vietnam latest news - Thanh Nien Daily | Chinese firm found dumping sewage into Vietnam via secret pipeline: Vietnamese environmental police said on Saturday that a Chinese toilet equipment producer has been discharging untreated waste into northern Vietnamese waterways through hidden pipes.
The Italisa Vietnam, which operates in an industrial zone in Bac Giang Province, was found discharging sewage through a 15-meter long pipeline that had been buried under sand and concrete.
It has been discharging 150 cubic meters of sewage a day.
Three sewage and emission samples have been collected for testing.
