Accidents at work halved in 10 years - The Malta Independent: Occupational Health and Safety Authority figures show that occupational accidents have more than halved in the 10 years to 2012, from 3,500 for every 100,000 employees in 2002, to 1,700 per 100,000 employees last year.
The figures were presented yesterday by Health Minister Joe Cassar. They show also that occupational deaths have gone down from an average of nine per year in 2002, to four each year.
