Elderly woman's maggot-filled leg amputated - The Local: A Stockholm nursing home has been accused of severe neglect after a 95-year-old resident was rushed to hospital with a maggot-infested wound.
The 95-year-old woman lived in the Rosengården nursing home in Midsommarkransen, a Stockholm suburb. She was taken by ambulance to the Karolinska University hospital last summer.
