Sellafield in the dock over radioactive waste disposal: Sellafield nuclear power station is to be prosecuted over allegations it
dumped four bags of low-level radioactive waste at a landfill site in
Cumbria, it was confirmed today.


The company faces nine charges, eight brought by the Environment Agency and one by the Office for Nuclear Regulation, following an investigation into hazardous waste concerns raised in 2010.�
