Eagle Radio - The Station that Loves Surrey and Hampshire - News - Fire at Aldershot Westgate Shopping Centre: There was a fire at the new Westgate shopping centre in Aldershot this morning.2 crews from Rushmoor were called to the building just after 8:30. There was a large amount of smoke caused by a 500-litre tar boiler.
When crews arrived, the boiler had burnt itself out.Firefighters managed to put the blaze out with 2 litres of foam jet by nine-thirty.
