Construction worker killed: A speeding milk van knocked down a construction worker, killing him on the spot, near Attur Gate on Sunday. Raju, 34, the victim, used to work at a construction site in Attur and hailed from Chikmagalur. Raju was crossing the Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan Road when the accident occurred. The driver of the van belonging to the Karnataka Milk Federation, abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene.
