Chicken plant worker killed on the job - The Cherokee Ledger-News: Weekly News: The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and local law enforcement continue to investigate what is being called an “industrial accident” that killed a 37-year-old man at Pilgrim’s Pride chicken plant in Canton.�
A spokesperson for the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office said Christopher Chin, of Canton, was killed Oct. 23 after attempting to remove debris that was lodged into one of the plant’s machines.
