Worker killed, another hurt when 3-ton beam falls on them at western NY steel factory: LACKAWANNA, N.Y. — An industrial accident in western new York has killed one man and injured another.
Federal workplace safety authorities tell WGRZ-TV in Buffalo (http://on.wgrz.com/QXlE1E ) that a 3-ton steel beam fell on the men at the Linita Design and Manufacturing plant in Lackawanna at about 5 p.m. Thursday.
