Tanker Crew Held as Police Investigate Deadly Ferry Accident | The Jakarta Globe: Police are holding the crew of a chemical tanker for questioning following a collision with a passenger ferry in the Sunda Strait that left eight people dead early on Wednesday. Sr. Comr. Agus Rianto, a spokesman for the National Police, said that the accident occurred at around 4:40 a.m., about an hour and a half hours after the ferry KMP Bahuga Jaya left Merak Port in Banten to make the crossing to Bakauheni Port in Bandar Lampung.
