Official sacked for grinning at accident: State media in China say a work-safety official photographed grinning at the scene of a road crash that killed 36 people has been sacked. The pictures of Yang Dacai caused an outcry among China's internet-users. Later images showed him wearing expensive watches, glasses and bracelets, prompting public questions about his salary. Xinhua news agency said he'd been removed from his post for possessing the expensive watches and for serious violations of discipline.
