Council was right to pursue director | This is Bristol: WE live in an age where food cleanliness and kitchen hygiene are very important to us as customers of restaurants and takeaways. The days of "what the eye doesn't see, the chef doesn't grieve over" are long gone. We expect our food to have been prepared in a proper manner by staff who are licensed to do so.
Which is why Bristol City Council is to be praised for the detective work that led its food safety and public health department to the Fishponds premises of Hamza Poultry Limited and its sole director Kamran Ajaib.
