18 Fuel Companies Face Prosecution - Power Engineering: Eighteen fuel companies face prosecution for operating without licences in violation of the provisions of the Petroleum Act.
This follows an ultimatum issued by the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority to the petroleum industry operators to register with the agency before end of May 2012.
The Herald investigations revealed that some of the fuel companies were in breach of various council by-laws and posing a serious fire risk to the public.
