Ship freed after it ran aground | Metro Detroit | Detroit Free Press | freep.com: A cruise ship with 130 people aboard was freed early Sunday with the help of a tugboat.The 216-foot Yorktown ran aground in the Detroit River about 8:15 p.m. Saturday between Wyandotte and Canada's Fighting Island, U.S. Coast Guard officials said.
