26 evacuated after chip shop fire - Kilmarnock Standard: A fire in a chip shop has forced 26 people to be evacuated from nearby flats.
The blaze broke out in Victor's Fish Bar in Blackness Road, Dundee, around 2.15am.
Residents in tenement flats above the shop and two adjacent blocks were evacuated by firefighters after the fire spread to the roof space of the shop.
