Scaffolding collapse at Redmond construction site causes injuries, detours

Four construction workers were injured after their construction scaffolding collapsed Friday in downtown Redmond.

The 30 foot high scaffolding collapsed around 12:30 p.m., as a construction crew worked on the beginnings of an apartment complex near 164th and Cleveland.

Four people were treated for minor injuries caused by the collapse.

"They were all injured workers," says Spokesman Jim Bove with the Redmond Police Department. It's unclear whether they were on the scaffolding or beside it when it happened."
