Tile Hill takeaway fined for rat infestation - Coventry Telegraph

THE owners of a Chinese takeaway in Coventry have been fined for a rat infestation and a string of other food hygiene offences.

A court has heard how Fortune Garden, a Chinese takeaway in Tile Hill Lane, had been riddled with rats and posed a health risk to the public.

The rodents had been seen in the premises and droppings were found throught the site.

It had also been crawling with ants, which were found running around on surfaces and in sugar and flour containers.
