Onion Argy Bargy - Around the World News - Romanian Times Online News - English Newspaper: A female Air India pilot who caused chaos to the timetable by insisting on a stop to buy onion dumplings from her favourite restaurant is facing the sack.
Captain Smriti Trehan, 42, had been told that instead of piloting a midday flight from Mumbai to Delhi with a stopover in Jodhpur - she should pilot a different flight.
But she refused to take the other flight, saying that she wanted to stick with her original assignment as she had already ordered a portion of her favourite snack - pyaz kachoris or onion filled doughnuts.
