Coroner: Worker killed when machine's safety feature fails | Anderson - WYFF Home
A 62-year-old worker was killed at an Upstate manufacturing plant Tuesday morning, according to the Anderson County coroner.
The accident happened at Stanco Metal Products at 107 Twenty Nine Court in Williamston.
Stanco is a metal stamping and fabricating company. The company is headquartered in Michigan.
Coroner Greg Shore said Kendall R. Collier, of Piedmont, fell into a metal stamping machine that two coworkers were operating.
