Brits offer Croats farm jobs - Business News - Croatian Times Online News - English Newspaper: British farmers have called upon Croats to work their fields picking fruit and veg.
According to Poslovni Dnevnik, some 20,000 additional season workers are needed in the UK and farmers there have said that when Croatia joins the EU in July they will have jobs waiting for them.
The National Farmers Union (NFU) said it believed Croat workers could help efficiently and added that many unemployed Brits do not want to move from cities to farms.
