Rail maintenance worker killed - Local - The Star
RAIL worker from South Yorkshire has been killed after being struck by a train.
The 26-year-old man, believed to be from Doncaster, was struck by a Northern Rail Scunthorpe to Lincoln service, which had previously called at Doncaster and Sheffield, at 1.55pm today at Saxilby, near Lincoln.
British Transport Police and the Rail Accident Investigation Branch are investigating the collision.
