Franklin Barazarte Arrest warrant issued for TV presenter after magician's face set on fire in botched stunt American magician Wayne Houchin

A TV presenter who set fire to a magician’s face in a botched stunt is on the run from the law after a judge issued a warrant for his arrest.

Wayne Houchin suffered first-degree burns to his face, scalp and hands when host Franklin Barazarte poured flaming liquid over his head during filming on Tuesday.

The presenter claimed the incident was an accident and said he tossed highly flammable cologne over Mr Houchin as a “blessing” as part of the astrology variety show in the Dominican Republic.

But the magician, who is still recovering from his injuries, believes the attack was intentional.
