Fire fighters had to act before concrete hardened - The Times of India: PUNE: A team of 30 fire fighters played a crucial role in retrieving the 13 bodies from the debris on Tuesday. It took them more than four hours as the cement was hardening rapidly and the bodies were entangled in steel bars. Chief officer of the Pune fire brigade Prashant Ranpise told TOI that their control room received a call around 2.30 pm on Tuesday about several labourers being stuck under the collapsed structure of an under-construction building at Kesnand near Wagholi.
