Dangling window cleaner rescued from high-rise: A window cleaner has been rescued after he was left dangling from a high-rise building after an accident on the Gold Coast.The cleaner was wearing a safety harness while working on the 21st floor of a Main Beach hotel around 9:00am when he suddenly fell several storeys.The Department of Community Safety says witnesses who called for help reported seeing the 35-year-old dangling off the side of the building.Firefighters were preparing to rescue him but its understood a person inside the hotel eventually helped the man in through a window.
