Bridge crashes down, five injured - Mumbai - DNA: A part of the Valdhuni bridge between Kalyan and Vithalwadi railway station collapsed on Friday evening, leaving five people seriously injured.
The 540m bridge, which was to be inaugurated by mid-January next year had been proposed to ease out traffic congestion at the parallel Patriphul bridge, where more than 5000 vehicles ply daily.
