Eight people suffered breathing problems after a nitric acid gas leak inside the creamery.
Sixty other employees at the site in Lifton, near Launceston, were decontaminated and given clean clothes. None of the eight workers treated were seriously injured, Devon and Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said.
