OSHA cites Hurtado Construction in Richmond, Texas, with repeat violations for exposing workers to cave-in hazards

RICHMOND, Texas – The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited Hurtado Construction Co. in Richmond for three repeat violations following an inspection that found employees installing sewer lines in a 10-foot-deep trench that lacked required cave-in protection. Proposed penalties total $46,200.
