The dread of death on the job | Herald Sun: NOT only is Victoria troubled by increasing industrial strife on its construction sites, workers are being killed in workplace accidents at an alarming rate.

























A Herald Sun investigation has found that 269 Victorians have been killed in workplace accidents during the past 10 years. Since the start of last year, someone has been killed on an average of every 18 days.Last year 25 people died, and 10 have lost their lives this year.
