Five arrested over fatal lift plunge: Mainland police say they have detained five people over a life accident in Hubei province last Thursday which killed 19 people. Xinhua News Agency reported that the lift plummeted from the 30th floor of a block of flats under construction in Wuhan, killing everyone inside. It said those detained were from companies responsible for the construction of the building and the installation of the lift.
