PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) - A forklift accident inside a local business led to a spill of more than 100 gallons of weed killer.
It happened at 3:30 a.m. Thursday at 9026 N.E. 13th Ave. Firefighters arrived, assessed the situation and worked to ensure the leak was contained until a hazardous materials cleanup crew arrived.
Investigators said a forklift punctured a container holding 240 gallons of weed killer. Firefighters estimated about half of it leaked out.
