Mario’s Mediterranean Takeaway has been closed down after “serious health risk conditions” - Gazette Live

TAKEAWAY IS CLOSED OVER HEALTHRISKS - Local News - News - Gazette Live: A HOT food takeaway in Redcar has been closed down after “serious health risk conditions” were found.
And Mario’s Mediterranean Takeaway, at 149b High Street, Redcar, won’t be allowed to reopen until food safety officers are satisfied it’s got its house in order.
Officers from Redcar and Cleveland Council’s food team discovered the conditions - including “evidence of mouse activity” and “very poor” cleanliness standards - during an inspection of Mario’s on Tuesday night.
Using emergency closure powers under the Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2006, officers formally closed the takeaway to protect public health.
